Of course there is a love/hate relationship between the US and Canada. We're neighbours. We squabble. We love each other. We're like siblings, punching each other one minute, hugging each other the next.

Be glad we aren't like the Europeans. At least WE won't start WWIII.

I would do crate-training for the times the dog is unsupervised and/or sleeping at night, and go back to step one of potty training, treating the dog as if it were a young puppy. This means putting the dog on a strict pottying schedule, taking her outside with you like every 2 hours and not coming back in until she potties. This make take 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes, but you have to dig your heels in and not come inside because ONLY when the dog actually potties outside can the real training happen: You reward the dog for outside potties with lavish praise, treats, snuggles and any other thing that shows her how pleased you are.

Good luck. Potty training can take months before a dog really catches on, but during that time she WILL make steady improvements, so hang in there.
